Terms & Conditions

By enrolling in a course with Driving Skills Academy, the student, or their parent or legal guardian where required, acknowledges and agrees to the following:

1. No Refunds After Course Commencement

Once the student has started any portion of the course, all course fees paid are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law. A course is considered started when the student first participates in a classroom session, begins an online learning module, or attends an in-vehicle lesson, whichever occurs first.

After commencement, withdrawal, non-attendance, changes in personal circumstances, or a decision not to continue do not entitle the student to a refund for unused lessons or incomplete course components. Any outstanding payments remain payable under the agreed payment schedule, subject to applicable law.

There is no approval of extension of course, it has to be completed within the 1 year time period.

2. Completion Within One Year

The student must complete all required course components within one year of the enrolment date. This includes all applicable classroom or online instruction, in-vehicle lessons, assignments, assessments, and other program requirements.

The student is responsible for maintaining attendance, completing coursework, and requesting lessons sufficiently in advance to meet this deadline. Scheduling is subject to instructor availability.

Any extension must be requested before the completion deadline and approved in writing by Driving Skills Academy. If the course expires without completion or an approved extension, re-enrolment and additional fees may be required. Any such fees will be disclosed before re-enrolment. Where Academy cancellations prevent timely completion, an appropriate extension will be provided without an extension fee.

3. Credit Card Processing Charges

Students who choose to pay by credit card agree to pay any applicable credit card processing charge clearly disclosed before payment is authorized. The applicable rate or dollar amount will be shown separately from tuition, together with the total amount payable.

By authorizing payment, the cardholder agrees to the disclosed total, including the processing charge. Such charges will apply only where permitted by applicable law and payment network rules. Any treatment of processing charges on an eligible refund will comply with those requirements.

4. Acknowledgment and Acceptance

By signing below or electronically accepting these terms, the student confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to the refund policy, one-year completion requirement, and disclosed credit card processing charges.

Nothing in these terms limits any rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived under applicable consumer protection laws.
